Johnny E. Villena (JEV) Foundation Mission Statement
Our ambition is to provide hope and assistance to immigrant and minority children needing financial support to obtain education from trade schools, colleges, universities and professional certifications. The purpose of this education is focused on the ultimate goal of entrepreneurship and financial stability. We will provide this assistance through awarding scholarships and grants to chosen students that prove to possess the character found in the ideals of our father, Johnny E. Villena.
Johnny and Elsa Villena are Peruvian immigrants that moved to the United States in 1964. They became naturalized immigrants and their children became business owners, teachers, executives, and even a Lt Colonel. To learn more about their story read Our Story.

Faith – Faith is the fuel for your dreams, your inspiration, and the reason you can be diligent. Faith says you can do it because you trust your values, your family, and God to help you believe there can be something better.
Diligence – Diligent people are motivated to put actions behind their words without making excuses. Diligent people prioritize their time to do the hard work to achieve their goals and take steps constantly forward.
Integrity – More than just doing the right thing when no one’s looking, integrity is being true to your values regardless of what people say or think. It’s doing the right thing, because it’s the right thing, no matter the cost. Integrity is priceless.
Honor – All a person has is his word. An honorable person understands order, respects and values a person’s position whether or not they like the person. A person of honor respects the people around them the way they expect to be respected.
Love – Love is choice, it is hard, but it is also good. Love is wanting to leave a place better than you found it. This is a major reason why the Johnny E. Villena Foundation was created, because we dream from a place of love for the betterment of our family and for yours.
